n October 2019, a success case in a leading sheep farm proved that ActiPlus© was as effective as antibiotics to treat diarrhea in lambs.

The animals were lambs affected by diarrhea. Their age was between 8 and 17-days-old.

The trial group was treated with ActiPlus© administered directly in the mouth, once a day, until the signs of digestive problems disappeared.

Control group

Average days for the digestive signs to disappear: 4

Appearance of the feces

Trial group

Before the experiment, the feces of the trial group were watery and shapeless. The animals were lethargic and not willing to eat.

After the experiment, the feces were shaped. The animals were active and with good appetite.

Control group

Before the experiment, the feces of the control group were watery and shapeless. The animals were lethargic, lying on the ground, and not willing to eat.

After the experiment, most of the feces were shaped, although some are still soft. The animals were active and with good appetite.
